American Flask & Cap Company large gun stock powder flask: Circa 1854, copper and brass, with graduated spout 'fire-proof' spring, cap marked 'AM.FLASK&CAPCO', embossed on both sides, two suspension rings, working spring, graduations move and spout separates correctly, some shallow knocks, made to contain 8 oz. of powder, 8 1/2 inches length. Original and rare; Riling 1336.
