Remington Elliot .32 Rim-fire Pepperbox Derringer, serial number 15216 dates to mid-1870s, with 3/8 in. sighted four-barrel cluster, left rib marked ‘MANUFACTURED BY E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y’, right rib marked ‘ELIOTS’ PATENTS MAY 29. 1860 – OCT. 1 1861’, rotating firing pin, dark wood grips, ring trigger, under-barrel sliding catch allows barrel cluster to tilt for loading, 5 ¼ in. overall. Obsolete calibre; no licence required.
