British 1899 Pattern Troopers Sword with steel scabbard and sword knot. Sword knot marked 'A.I.I. 1922'. Blade variously dated '99 and '00, with Arrow stamps and 'EFD'. Scabbard woth W/D and arrow /88. This piece is almost certainly a converted 1890 pattern as the blade fullering finishes 8" from the point (see Robson p.54).
