Pistol, an extreamly rare and interetsing Jailors Key Pistol of 50 bore, matchlock ignition. These pistols served a dual purpose of operating Cell locks and doubling up as a last ditch weapon. It was fired by applying a candle flame to the touch hole, probably 18th / 19th century, possibly earlier. An interesting item
