British Military Shooting Prize, engraved, unmarked silver oval 50x64mm, 31.00g: Napoleonic era South Stoneham Volunteers prize to Wm Caiger at a Ball Firing Competition, 7 April 1812. The South Stoneham volunteers were raised by M.P. Colonal Sloane. William Caiger was by 1812 a captain (London Gazette, 20 April 1811). Comes with research.
