Pistol, an extremely good 28 Bore flintlock holster pistol with English view and proof marks to the three stage, 13" barrel. Rounded banana shaped lock, swan neck cock, in GWO on 1st and 2nd cock. Action tight with crisp movement and good mainspring. Fine patinated walnut stock. Stock with relief carving of "aprons" to the forestock, barrel tang, sideplate and lock. Brass T/Guard and ornate sideplate. Heavy gargoyle but cap. Original steel rammer, an elegant and attractive pistol, untouched and in collector grade condition. Circa 1730
