German Fuse - an interesting souvenir "Dopp Z C/9L" Artillery Shell Fuse made into an inkwell and mounted on a wooden base with two brass plaques inscribed 'From Captain Borrow 13th D.L.I" and "Trenches Souchez March 1916". Inscriptions rubbed but readable. Capt / Major E Borrow DSO MID 13/D.L.I. to France 25/8/1915. Lived Longridge Court, Earls Court, London. DSO L/G 19/11/1917.
