Vol 1) German Empire from 1872 to 1923, mainly used early stamps, later a mix of mint & used. 1872-4 small and large shield types in both currencies, 1874 large figure 1m fractions to left of 2 cat £475. 1875 pfennin(e) issues, some on piece, postal stationary and covers, 1880-7 and 1889-90 many shades, similar for Reich post showing different perf types. 1903 Prussia officials, 1903/21 Germania - shades and later unshaded. 1918 Weimar Republic, Bavarian opts of Deutsches Reich, 1922 Officials and numerals, 1922 Post Horns both m & u. Inflation - numeral types including many from 1922 to 1924. Several covers and 100,000 banknote. Vol 2) Bohemia and Moravia 1939/42 with shades, small numbers for German P.O's in China, Morocco, Turkish Empire, German Occupation of Belgium, Eastern Command, Estonia, Poland, Romania, Russia and Ukraine. Good selection of Allied Occupation - French Zone, Baden, Rhineland, British & French Zones (most mm) Russian Zones etc. Vol 3) German States with a high cat value, although condition mixed. Baden 1852, 1858 numeral imperfs with shades. Bavaria 1849 to 1920 including covers. A selection, with duplication of Brunswich m & u, Hamburg with locals and covers, Hannover SG1 and 1851 issues, plus 1864 new currency isues and covers. Hansa, Lubeck - possibly with SG1, North Germany Confederation (N and S districts) Oldenburgh 1862 SG30, 32 and 38 m. Prussia from 1850 to 1861, much m. Thurn & Taxis, Saar, Saxony and Wurttenberg, etc. A well presented and original lot well worth viewing, massive cat value ! (3)
