Romanian 7.62 pistol Mitraliera Model 1963 variant of the AK-47 assault rifle, circa late 1960s, wooden stock and Bakelite pistol-grip, laminated wooden fore-grip and detachable magazine. A scarce licenced derivative identical to the Russian AKM version of the AK-47. From the mid 1960s, the fore-grip was added to allow better control of vertical muzzle climb during fully automatic fire. Deactivated to EU specifications with certificate.
