Imperial German Great War Mauser Service Rifle GEW98. The receiver on this rifle has been replaced and lacks date and makers marks. The bolt and barrel are original, full stocked with minor worm holes. Butt marker disc stamped 66 R.3.145 (66th Reserve Infantry Regiment). Imperial markings to buttstock "B276" stamped to wrist. Large Visier ramp rearsight, service wear overall, rear sling swivel with attachment, lacks ramrod. Barrel 30", calibre 7.95 / 8mm. This appears to be an early pre-war rifle and one likely involved in the early battles of WW1. With current Certificate of Deactivation
