Colt M1860 Army Revolver from the American Civil War, Serial No 115976 for 1863 which puts it in the series 115610-119975 virtually all issued to the 12th New York Volunteer Cavalry. Barrel address "Address Col Saml Colt New York US America", frame marked "Colts Patent". Excellent one piece walnut grips with Govt inspectors cartouch. Action crisp and tight in VGWO. Brass t/guard and with matching numbers throughout. Revolver made 1863 and issued on 15th Sept 1863 to "Coy C" 12th N.York Vol Cav. With some research, No Licence Required
