Boer War Pattn 1885 Cavalry Troopers Sword dated 1886, single edged 34.5 inch nickelled steel blade, fullered each side, ricasso marked with Broad Arrow over 'WD 'YC', Solingen inspection mark and bend test 'X', various inspection marks & dates and 'Weyersberg / Kirschbaum / Solingen', steel guard with Maltese Cross piercing & unit stampings inc 'L & B' for Lothian's & Berwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry. Steel scabbard with 2 suspension rings. Nice piece
