Martini-Henry (Enfield) from Afghanistan, action marked "VR" "Enfield 1874 II" (MkII). Calibre .577. Tapered fullstock, silver wire binding to wrist of stock and 6 silver barrel bands all decorated with acanthus type decoration. Leather sling, steel ramrod, reverse of action is marked "Crown VR Enfield 1900 M.L.E. .303 II". Original M/H rear sight. Worn overall, lock in GWO & Condition. Rifle originally a "Zulu War" era gun. Obsolete Calibre, No Licence Required
