Scarce single shot .22 calibre War Office Training Rifle, barrel 24", barrel top marked "The Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltd" and "Cartridge .220 Long Rifle" and "Min. Rifle WO Pattern". Matching No's 11027, ramp foresight, SMLE type rear sight with sight protectors. Hay stocked with swivel, brass butt plate with trap door, similar to SMLE. Lovely Rifle of the type used to train British Troops for WW1, c1910. GWO & Condition. With current Certificate of Deactivation
