WW2 scarce Mercantile Marine MBE group to third officer Granville Richard Drayton on the MV San Emiliano oil tanker. Which was sunk by a German U boat the U-155 on the 9th august 1942. Out of the 48 crew only eight survived he was the only officer to survive most of the surviving crew where burnt. There were two George medals for bravery awarded to the crew and he was awarded the MBE. Comes with a good selection of original documents with a large amount of research.
