GB - an excellent used collection in luxury hingeless Davo album with slipcase. With stamps from 1840 to 1970 ie pre-decimal. The QV layout in this album does not include the various plate no's so the scope is somewhat limited, however the high level of completion in impressive. 1840 Penny Black 4 margin (unplated) likewise for 2d blue with margins. Examples of 1854/5 perf 14 and 16 large and small crown for both 1d and 2d. 1d red plates complete (ex 77), not all checked but the examined are correct including Pl 225. Embossed set, cut square on 6d, 2 margins on 10d and one margin on 1/-. 1855/7, 1858, 1862/4 and 1865/7 basic sets complete, a few with neat cds pmks. 1867/80 set missing 2/- brown and 1867/83 high values include 5/- both wmks and 10/- anchor wmk. Little missing for the rest of the QV reign, etc etc. Needs viewing
