The Medal Index Card indicates that the Trio and LSGC were first issued in 1932 hence the odd style of naming to the Star, he was Comm's 1/8/1928. Listed as Major (Qr-Mr) 1st August 1940. Born Nelson, Lancaster. With a silver hallmarked & gilt Masonic Medal 1924-25 named to P F Cooke.
