1914 Star Trio with copy bar to 7452 Pte J G Sorby RAMC. James Gardiner Sorby served with 19th & 74th Field Ambulances RAMC, landing F&F 21st August 1914, served the whole war and was KIA less than a month before the end 14th October 1918, aged just 23, born Darlington. Buried Delaux Farm Cemetery.
