Roman Imperial: Maximianus AE Follis or Antoninianus of London. Rev: GENIO POPROM, star in right field, PLN in exergue. 4.32g. Stylistically reminiscent of coins of Carausius which turn up in East Anglia, also a little lightweight. Perhaps struck under Carausius during his attempts to placate the continental emperors, or a local imitation? Otherwise an interesting coin from the era of the usurpers. GVF
