Indian .650 percussion smoothbore musket, circa 1870s, based on the Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifle, with 32 in. sighted steel barrel, unmarked lock, brass nase-cap, trigger-guard and butt-plate, butt stamped ‘568’, decorated with brass stud-work and with unusual Indian patterning to the barrel, complete with ram-rod, crisp action on half and full cock, 48 in. overall.
