Imperial German GEW98 WW1 Rifle, 7.92 Calibre, breech stamped "Deutsche Waffen Munitions Fabrik Berlin 1907". SN: 5996 (breech, barrel, woodwork). An early rifle for the 1914/15 Army. It has a chip (approx 1.2") out of the underside of the buttstock, easily repaired. Service wear overall, original condition and a collectors piece. With current Certificate of Deactivation
