Imperial German Model 98/05 "Butcher" bayonet dated "L / 15", clean 14.5" blade. Left hand ricasso with "F.Herder & Son Solingen" with cross keys logo and "Amberg" to reverse. "High Ears" crossguard with no flashguard, grips with distinctive large oil hole. In its steel scabbard with two dents. These bayonets were finished at the Bavarian Amberg Arsenal were only produced in 1915. A decent example with service wear
