WW2 German Dog Tag From a soldier in the 2nd Infantry Division, 38th Reserve Battalion. The unit eventually became mechanised and merged with the 12th Panzer Division in 1942. This tag must have been replaced by the new unit one when it became obsolete. They mainly fought on the Russian Front.
