Sword - French Officers Sword circa. 1800. Slightly canted, domed and fluted pommel. Double diamond langets. Ebony grip. Blade 33" top section with fading blue finish with gilt decoration. Down swept Quillon. In its brass mounted steel scabbard. Vendor states 'Napoleonic 1st Empire Cavalry Officers blue and gilt Sabre.
