Sword, a French 1815 Pattern (1801 - 1815) Cavalry Hussar Troopers Sword. Heavy curved blade approx 35" inches. Top flat marked 'Manuftre Dep Chattellerault Janvier 1848'. Some nicks to blade, leather grip, handworn & missing central tang rivet to grip. Rack number '862'. Tight in its steel scabbard. Well worn but complete & sound.
