Japanese Wakasashi Swords and a Tanto Short Sword, slightly curved single-edged steel blades with carved ox-bone hilts and scabbards decorated with traditional Japanese scenes and figures being 1) late 19th Century Wakasashi, 14 in. blade, brass fittings decorated with stylised chrysanthemums and Sakura leaves, missing two bands and hilt cap, 25 in. overall; 2) early 20th Century Wakasashi, 13 ¾ in. blade, carved bone suspension loops.
