Bayonet: A Japanese Model 1897 Arisaka bayonet in its steel scabbard (minor dent). Blade 40cm. Last 20cm of blade officially modified by sharpening. Blade in very good condition with dual arsenal marks to ricasso. Scabbard with dark patina. Service wear overall. This is the first pattern which saw extensive use in WW1 & WW2. It provided the template for the P07 Hook Quillon bayonet.
