Crimea Medal with Sebastopol clasp, British Army engraved (Pte J Wilkinson. 34th Foot.). Research show there is only one man of this name on the roll = John. His medical notes state that 'injury to his left wrist, produced 'anchylosis' of that joint. Occurred at the attack on The Quarries before Sebastopol 7th June 1855'. He is not on the published casualty roll. Born Pontefract.
