Brass barrelled, drum and nipple conversion of a marine service pistol with brass barrel 9", part octagonal part round with flared muzzle. British proofs to breech. Brass buttcap repaired, tail of trigger guard missing, butt stock shortened, barrel possibly shortened as well ? No ramrod, barrel with tape around, hammer lacks screw and is taped on. An interesting pistol, lock with makers name "Spinkaes" ? and barrel with "Bristol". Research project. Sold as seen
