WW2 Casualty group with original box of issue, named Casualty medal slip, 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star + France and Germany clasp, War Medal for Carpenter Frank Abdy Hempsall Merchant Navy. Died 24/2/1945 on GPO Cable Ship "Alert" when she was sunk by the German Midget Submarine U-5330 off the Dodman, North Goodwin Sands. On the Tower Hill Memorial. Lived River, nr Dover, Kent.
