Rare P07 bayonet with hooked fighting quillon, pommel marked "2 N.L." 2nd Bn Loyal North Lancs Regt. This Bn was in India in 1914 landing in Tanga, G.E.Africa 3/11/1914. Then to Egypt, Suez 18/1/1917, finally to Western Front 27/5/1918. Made by Enfield in Nov 1910. Original scabbard numbered "479" matching pommel. Scabbard is of Indian manufacture. With its P'14 leather leather frog with helve strap made by Martins of Birmingham. Service wear overall, minor dent to chape, blade 17".
