WW2 very interesting Normandy group to 3600226 Pte Roy Nelson Beetham Border Regt, comes with 1939-45 star, F&G star, Defence and War medals in box with soldiers service and pay book, hat badge, Border titles with an old toffee tin which he had in his back pack containing his grease tins and his bible etc. It appears he got hit by shrapnel and his back pack was pierced, the tin and grease tins and damaged his bible, possibly saving his life.
