RAFVR Casualty group - Defence & War Medal in original named box, with named Medal slip and tikatape for 1048291 F/Sgt (Pilot) James William Carr RAFVR. Killed piloting a Bristol Beaufighter during Special Low Flying training with 211 Sqdn, aged 21, on 18th April 1944. Buried Ranchi War Cemetery. Medals sent to his father P. Carr, Volunteer Arms, Seaham, Co. Durham. With research. (2)
