GB Postal History - c1840's -1890's interesting lot of covers and additional correspondence to Dr Robert Banning of Gateshead, later a Ships Surgeon and eventually an MP. Much of the correspondence is without envelope but those present are mostly 1d Red plates. 2x covers to New York with 1/- embossed, one cut to shape, other square with one margin. One with Liverpool 'spoon'. Good research lot ! (Qty)
