GB. Stanley Gibbons album Vol. 1 1840 to 1966 used. A simplified QV section without the various plates, although inserted pages to include SG 48 and 1d Red plates. A good example of 1840 1d black, four margins, one uneven and very generous. A further selection of the 1854/7 issues. 1d Red plates present except plate 77, but includes a decent plate 225. All 1/2d Batum plates present. Examples of most basic types up to SG 141, not including the high values. SG 141 all plates present, similar for SG 142. Basic range from 1880/1 to 1887/1900, excluding £1 and four stamps from the 1883/4 set. Average 2/6 to 10/- used. QV Jubilee to 1/- (both) used, except 1 1/2d, 2d and 5d mint. KEVII 1902/3 set to £5 (corner fault). Nearly complete M or U from SG 279 to 1966. Unidentified 1913/18 seahorses used to 10/- (London CDS). 1924 set M/UM, and most after except £1 P.U.C and KGVI high values as well as the 1934 seahorses. Wilding sets and all the phosphors of the QE2 era noted. Condition well above the average. (qty)
