Pre-World War I military binoculars by Ross: Dated 1903, brass with brown leather-covered body, marked ‘ROSS / LONDON’ on one tube and numbered ‘3348’ over ‘1903’ on the other, both sliding shades marked with a Broad Arrow, working focus and good optics, together with its brown leather case maker-marked ‘A. GARSTIN & Co. Ltd.’ and dated 1916; past owner’s name written inside lid.
