Airship interest. Rare and original piece of the outer skin of the R33 when it broke from its moorings at Pulham in 1925 resulting in gallantry awards and gold watches being awarded to members of the crew. Pathe News footage exists of this famous event and records the moment the R33 limped back to Pulham with the front of the airship badly damaged and collapsed. The fabric still retains its silver outer covering. This is approx 13.5 inches by 7.5inches.
